Duty & Tax Notice for U.S. Customers
Duty & Tax Notice for U.S. Customers
All orders shipped internationally are no longer exempt from duties or customs clearance charges under U.S. import rules (removal of the USD 800 de‑minimis exemption effective August 29, 2025).
Depending on the country of manufacture, the following tariffs apply:
For items made in Europe (EU): 20% import tariff.
For items made in China (The Mini Brush and Mr. Gustave): up to 125% import tariff.
These charges will be calculated and collected by U.S. Customs, either as a percentage of order value or a flat fee of USD 80–200 per parcel (for postal shipments).
These duties and fees are not included in product prices or shipping charges at checkout. They are the responsibility of the recipient.
We’re Working to Stay Updated
We actively monitor trade regulation changes and strive to provide accurate, up-to-date information about import duties and procedures. Our goal is to give you a clear picture of what to expect when ordering from our shop. However, due to the complexity of international shipping and frequent regulatory updates, we cannot guarantee the final amount of customs charges levied by U.S. authorities.
Know Your Local Import Rules
We strongly recommend that U.S. customers familiarize themselves with local customs regulations and import tax policies before placing an order. U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has the final say on all import duties, taxes, and fees. If you're unsure, please contact CBP or consult a licensed customs broker.
