It was always worth it.

I'm writing this from somewhere between then and now, and I still can't fully believe it happened. Not because I doubted it would, I never doubted the products, not once. But because the distance between believing in something and actually bringing it into the world is longer than it looks from where you start.

We made everything. The formulas, the brand, the website, the photography, the packaging, the strategy, the emails, the stories, the social, the logistics. One year.

There were days I asked myself if it was worth it. I'm allowed to admit that. There were days the answer felt uncertain.

It was always worth it.

You understood what BOB was before we fully found the words for it. You recognised it. The tone, the point of view, the formulas underneath the aesthetic. You didn't just buy a product, you felt something, and you came back, and you told someone, and they came back too. That is not a marketing result. That is a connection between people and something real.

BOB BEAUTÉ reached 82 countries in twelve months.

That number means something to me that I don't have words for.

I started this brand because I believed that women deserve better than the industry has been giving them. Not more, better. Not another fifty steps, the right three. Not a transformation, a recognition. The feeling of looking in the mirror and thinking: yes. That's what I actually look like.

I still believe that. More than ever.
